The Maine Learning Technology Initiative 2.0

The Maine Learning Technology Initiative 2.0—a program within Maine DOE’s Office of Innovation— delivers a state-level holistic technology program to schools. MLTI 2.0 is a set of inter-related dependent supports, measures, services, and activities that, together, build a foundation for a state and local partnership in technology. The program’s long-term goal is to provide the equitable integration of technology for engaging and effective educational experiences. In 2021, first year of implementation, the program will serve 28,000 students and 2,850 educators. At full implementation in 2023-24, MLTI 2.0 will serve 56,000 students and 5,700 educators in grades 5 through 10.
