A Roadmap for Supporting Students and Adults through SEL Critical Practices

Now, more than ever, educators, administrators, students, and parents need to take care of themselves to pool resources, develop common goals, and identify opportunities to work together to support all members of their school community. 

 

Reunite, Renew, and Thrive: Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Roadmap for Reopening School is a free, downloadable roadmap to help renew school communities through relationship-building and authentic partnerships that honor the voices and experiences of all stakeholders. CASEL developed this roadmap with the input of more than 40 organizations to support equity-focused SEL strategies centered on relationships and built on the existing strengths of a school community.

 

Schools—in partnerships with their communities, districts, and states—can use the SEL Critical Practices outlined in the roadmap to foster the competencies and learning environments that students and adults need to reunite, renew, and thrive.
