We’ve all been there before. Running out to pick up pizza for a school party or to keep people energized as they work long hours. I can’t begin to count the number of pizzas that I’ve purchased in my career as an educator for events like yearbook work sessions and after-school department meetings. And let’s be real. Pizza is easy. It’s cheap. No plates are needed and most people are happy to grab a slice and get back to work.
Donna Teuber
Donna Teuber is a respected leader in the field of educational technology with a passion for helping schools implement innovative practices that support engaged student learning. She is the Innovation Program Designer in Richland School District Two, Columbia, SC. Donna's team has successfully deployed and implemented a large scale 1:1 student computing initiative. She works closely with school leaders to bring about second order change in schools. She also leads the R2 Innovates innovation incubator which provides teams of educators with the training and resources that they need to implement promising practices.
In addition to her work in Richland Two, Donna is an Intel Education Visionary, Google for Education Certified Innovator and a Google for Education Certified Trainer. She received the 2014 Power to the People DILA Award from EdSurge and Digital Promise as well as the 2014 Columbia Chamber Palmetto Pillar Award for Leadership. Donna presents frequently at state and national conferences on design thinking and innovation, digital content, designing space for learning, innovative educational uses of technology including Google Apps and tools, digital leadership and 1:1 deployment.
