K-12 students explore essential cybersecurity practices through hands-on activities and virtual Minecraft Education worlds. In this course they’ll gain the skills they need to become safe, smart, and confident digital citizens.
In this 30-minute, self-paced course, K-12 students will:
- Learn strategies for identifying and responding to common cyber threats;
- Understand basic cybersecurity measures to protect their data and devices;
- Learn how to get help with cybersecurity problems; and
- Apply their knowledge of cybersecurity in one or more virtual Minecraft Education worlds.
Microsoft education customers who have purchased Microsoft 365 A3 or A5 licenses are eligible to download the full course (in five modules) so you can import, adapt, and install on your own learning management system (LMS). You will need a password provided by your Microsoft Account Executive to access the SCORM downloads.
Each module and its associated resources (i.e., action plans, videos, and resources) are packaged as a SCORM 1.2 learning object which is compatible with most LMS platforms.
